These Amazing Big Cats Once Walked The Earth
Xenosmilus
This big cat was related to Smilodon – the famous Sabertoothed Tiger – but had shorter, thicker teeth. All of those teeth had serrated edges, like the teeth of a shark, designed to tear through flesh. Remains of the Xenosmilus have been found in Florida, but no one knows for sure when it went extinct.
