Killer Whales Filmed ‘Playing’ with Sunfish

A pod of killer whales were filmed playing with a sunfish in some incredible footage recently filmed off the coast of Mexico.

The orcas can be seen pushing around the bony fish as the onlookers watch in amazement from their boat.

Killer whales have been documented “playing” with their food on several occasions, including orcas tail-slapping stingrays and throwing seals 80 feet into the air.

The amazing moment was caught on camera by Cristobal Alvarez while on a boat off the coast of Michoacan, Mexico.

“It was incredible,” Cristobal wrote.
