Bald Eagle Brings in Living Baby Fox, but No One Gets It

A camera set up to monitor bald eagles captured some amazing footage when the dad eagle brought home a living baby fox to the nest.

The footage shows how one of the older eaglets arrives and tries to grab the prey. Dad resists and flies off with the prey, with the older eaglet taking off in pursuit. Seconds later, another eaglet flies in and dad returns with the prey. A tussle ensues over the prey, which may have fallen out of the nest in the fracas.

The eagle nest is located in the Sauces Canyon on Santa Cruz Island, California.
