Make way for lions! This is the S100 mega pride, which is the biggest pride of lions in Kruger National Park.

This massive pride of lions was filmed walking down the road, preventing any safari vehicles from passing.

The large pride included a male lion, lionesses and cubs. They walked on the road for over 10 minutes.

According to the photographer, “This is not the first time we’ve seen lions walking in the road. And it wouldn’t be the last. Lions often walk on roads as they, like people, like to walk the path of least resistance. So magnificent. This is what the Kruger National Park can give you.”

“After turning around and going about 300m past where we first saw them, we saw another two male lions lying next to a wildebeest kill. No doubt they were from the same pride.”

“Scenes like this, in South Africa, only happen in national parks and game reserves.”

Filmed on the H6 on its border with the H1-3, near Satar in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
