A wolverine was filmed facing off with two wolves in some incredible footage.
The amazing encounter occurred on April 10th, 2020 in a remote corner of Far Eastern Russia.

Wolverines are resilient, fearless creatures which have often been documented standing their ground in the face of wolves and other large predators.
In yet another incredible sighting, watch how the fearless wolverine casually walks up to a wolf, and even when the wolf attacks, the wolverine shows no fear.
The wolverine, the largest of the weasel family, is stocky, muscular and mean. Male wolverines can weigh up to 55 lbs. and reach a length of 3 ft.
The wolverine has been known to attack prey many times its size, including moose and elk, though these instances have often been exaggerated. They primarily depend upon scavenging, and with their incredible stamina, they are able to cover over 30 miles in a night if it needs to, in search of food. They have been known to follow trails made by wolves and lynx with the intent of scavenging the remains of their kills.
While they are built for scavenging, they can be “more predator than scavenger if the situation allows for it,” according to Howard Golden, researcher for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
