Panda Tumbles in the Snow

Da Mao loves to play in the snow. This vivacious Giant Panda was filmed playing in the snow at the Toronto Zoo recently. This funny panda couldn’t quite make it up the hill without falling.

The zoo commented on their video, saying the “playful panda woke up to plenty of snow yesterday morning and it’s safe to say he was quite delighted.”

Giant Pandas are listed as endangered, with just about 1,800 left in the wild. Giant Pandas are found in the heart of China, and their habitat is threatened by human encroachment and environmental disaster. Zoos like this help ensure the survival of this species, the rarest of all bears.
