Incredible! An orca and a dolphin emerge out of the water in spectacular footage captured off the coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico.
The footage was captured by Miguel Cuevas of Cabo Pulmo Divers, who had been out on a boat whale-watching when he noticed a pod of orcas hunting a dolphin.
Orcas, popularly known as killer whales, are actually not whales. They are the largest species of dolphin, and they have no problem hunting down and eating their smaller relatives. So, with that in mind, no sea creature is safe from killer whales. Other than humans, killer whales are at the absolute top of the ocean’s food chain. In fact, in an odd twist, a pod of killer whales off the coast of Costa Rica hunted down a tiger shark!
